So here has started our first tour of Scotland for the Tunnell Trust 😊 It started rather frantically by us loosing two of our train tickets whilst at Euston station.... With the prospect of having to buy two new tickets we scrambled around and thankfully found them down the side of Anna's iPad.... Dramatic as always!
We have encountered quite a lot of mishaps whist on tour, or getting to a tour... Some of which include emergency dentists and hospital stays(resulting in missing a return flight home and being left alone in a different country.....) so we are no strangers to muddling our way through a tough situation. After this we managed to eat two full carrier bags of food whist on the 4hour train journey... Yes we also love to eat....
So we have made a detour on our way to Scotland today with a lovely trip to Dicky and Emma's lovely country house. We met them on Coll and both we're so lovely to host us to do a pre-tour charity concert and also to see them again which is lovely.
After a lovely dinner of Beef stew and sticky toffee pudding we relaxed with a lovely glass of wine I front of an open fire. This is a perfect opportunity to take in the country air and feel truly relaxed. Now all ready for our first sleep of tour we are really looking forward to getting on with some music making including some of the music we performed in Denmark only a few months ago along with some much newer repertoire for us.
